Eyelash Extension Aftercare Guide

GENERAL GUIDELINES

Wake up each day to effortless beauty with your beautiful new Xtreme Lashes® Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions. Proper care and maintenance of your extended lashes, which were applied using either Classic Single-Layer™ or Omni Volume™ Multi-Layer techniques, will ensure longevity of your longer, fuller, darker, and more lifted lashes.

AFTER YOUR APPLICATION

Basic makeup application and normal lifestyle routine can resume immediately after your eyelash extension application. To facilitate a more flexible, longer-lasting bond, and to minimize potential irritation or adverse reactions, avoid the following activities within the first 3 hours:

Exposure to excessive perspiration, water or humidity from activities such as showering, swimming, hot yoga, exercise, sauna, etc.
Tanning (outside, tanning bed, airbrush or spray tanning)
Contact lens insertion
Use of Non-Xtreme Lashes cosmetics and skincare products that come in contact with your extended eyelashes

Note: To maximize your eyelash extension longevity, only use specially formulated eyelash extension compatible Xtreme Lashes cosmetics and skincare products.

With every formula, we aim to combine the best ingredients from science and nature at the highest concentration to achieve maximum efficacy, as well as nourish, rejuvenate, and Extend Your Beauty®.

The following activities will weaken adhesive bonds and results in premature eyelash extension loss:

Use of Non-Xtreme Lashes cosmetics and skincare products that come in contact with extended eyelashes
Use of waterproof cosmetics on or near extended eyelashes, such as waterproof mascara and waterproof eyeliner
Use of mechanical or heated curlers
Excessive application of heavy moisturizers, lotions, or facial oils that come in contact with your extended lashes
Excessive mascara application – only use the Xtreme Lashes Length & Volume Mascara according to the instructions
Subjecting your extended lashes to friction
Rubbing eyes
Picking or pulling on extended eyelashes
Eyelash tinting or perming extended lashes – perm or tint natural lashes prior to receiving eyelash extensions

To prevent damage to your extended lashes, take precautions with the following procedures:

Chemical peels, skin resurfacing procedures, facial treatments and facial massages that come in direct contact with the eye area

Specific precautions for Hybrid or Volume Lash Applications:

To prevent your extended lashes from clumping or losing volume, do NOT apply mascara or Protective Coating to eyelash extensions applied using Hybrid or Volume techniques.

Note: Always inform your cosmetic or medical provider that you are wearing eyelash extensions before any facial procedure begins.

ALL-OVER CLEANSE

Cleanse your entire orbital eye area quickly and effortlessly using the Xtreme Lashes lint-free Cosmetic Sponges. Saturate your Cosmetic Sponges with Xtreme Lashes Eye Makeup Remover & Facial Cleanser, and gently press the sponges onto your extended lashes, wiggling side to side gently to lift cosmetics. Use the other side of the sponge to repeat. Use a new sponge to cleanse your eyelids. Rinse thoroughly with water.

TARGETED CLEANSE

Cleansing eyelash extensions from base-to-tip

Saturate two Xtreme Lashes Flex Tip™ Applicators or Lint-Free Applicators with Eye Makeup Remover & Facial Cleanser, and place one above and one below your extended lashes. Perform gentle side to side motions while moving both applicators along your eyelashes from base-to-tip. Rinse thoroughly with water.

Cleansing For Eyelash Extensions Aftercare

Cleansing in-between eyelash extensions

Saturate an Xtreme Lashes Long-Tipped Applicator with Eye Makeup Remover & Facial Cleanser to clean between – and at the base of your lashes – to remove residual makeup, oils, and debris. Rinse thoroughly with water.

CLEANSING & MASSAGING THE EYELID

Saturate one or more Xtreme Lashes Flex Tip™ Applicators with Eye Makeup Remover & Facial Cleanser, and massage your lash line and eyelid to promote circulation and healthy natural eyelash growth. Rinse thoroughly with water.

Rinse

Remember to always rinse thoroughly with water to remove any residual makeup and cleanser.

DRY & STYLE

Dry, style, and fluff your extended lashes using the Xtreme Lashes Mini Fan and the Xtreme Lashes Deluxe Retractable Lash Styling Wand™. Now you’re ready to show off your longer, fuller, darker, and more voluminous Xtreme Lashes eyelash extensions!
